Notice of Compliance
This handbook sets the academic, pedagogical, and professional standards for permanent and adjunct teaching staff within the InnoDI FOAD environment. Compliance is mandatory for Moroccan ANEAQ, French RNCP, and U.S. DEAC accreditation maintenance.
1. Academic Freedom & Integrity
The AI Academic Integrity Framework
InnoDI encourages the use of Artificial Intelligence in the classroom. However, faculty must clearly differentiate between "critical prompt engineering" and "pure plagiarism." Faculty are responsible for:
- Requiring students to submit all prompt histories alongside final deliverables.
- Evaluating the student's *structural reasoning* and *geospatial logic* as more highly weighted than the syntactical correctness of their AI-generated code.
- Reporting suspected academic fraud to the Department Chair exclusively through the encrypted LMS dashboard.
2. Evaluation & Promotion Rubrics
Faculty performance is continuously monitored for quality assurance and continuous improvement. Evaluation criteria include:
- Synchronous Engagement: Holding consistent, scheduled "Virtual Residencies" and HD-video office hours.
- Timely Grading: Returning graded assignments and capstone feedback within 72 hours of submission.
- Student Evaluations: Aggregated CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) and PSAT (Pedagogical Satisfaction) scores collected dynamically at the end of each module.
- Professional Development: Completing mandatory digital competency workshops annually.
3. Digital Competency Standards
As a digital-first institution, all faculty must demonstrate technical mastery over the InnoDI tech stack:
- LMS Mastery: Faculty must proficiently navigate the bespoke Firebase-backed dashboard, updating grades, monitoring progress, and clearing the student "Action Required" queues.
- Remote Proctoring: Faculty must know how to initiate, review, and flag biometric and environmental data captured during examination periods using approved proctoring software.
- GitHub Integration: For technical courses, faculty must be capable of reviewing student code directly in collaborative Git environments.
4. Workload Definitions (ECTS-Based)
One ECTS credit represents approximately 25-30 hours of total student workload. Faculty workload is calculated proportionally:
- Asynchronous Modules: Designing text, interactive LeafletJS maps, and video content corresponding to the ECTS weight.
- Synchronous Tutoring: Conducting live Q&A, syllabus reviews, and grading correspondence.
5. Disciplinary Procedures
Failure to meet the standards outlined above will result in a progressive disciplinary process:
- Step 1: Formal written warning from the Department Chair with a required remediation plan.
- Step 2: Suspension of synchronous teaching privileges affecting compensation variables.
- Step 3: Immediate termination of the Remote Employment Contract for severe breaches (e.g., GDPR violations, systemic grading delays).
