Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about studying at InnoDI.

About InnoDI

What is InnoDI?

InnoDI (Institut d'Innovation et de la Transformation Digitale) is a 100% online university based in Morocco, offering mastery-based MSc degrees across five departments: Artificial Intelligence, Geospatial Analysis, Digital Architecture & Placemaking, UI/UX & Digital Product Design, and Business Technology.

Is InnoDI accredited?

InnoDI is seeking accreditation from ANEAQ (Agence Nationale d'Évaluation et d'Assurance Qualité), Morocco's national quality assurance agency for higher education. Our programs are designed to comply with the CNPN (Cahier des Normes Pédagogiques Nationales) and follow the European LMD system (Licence-Master-Doctorat) with ECTS credit equivalence.

Is InnoDI fully online?

Yes. All courses, assessments, and interactions happen online. You can study from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Our platform is designed to work well even on mobile networks common in Africa.

What makes InnoDI different from other online universities?

Three things set us apart:

  • Mastery-based model: You must achieve 100% competency to progress — no partial credit, no "C-grade pass." This ensures every graduate truly masters the material.
  • AI-augmented learning: We embrace AI as a co-pilot. You learn to direct AI agents with architectural thinking, making you far more productive than traditionally-trained graduates.
  • African-first design: Built for the realities of African students — affordable pricing in MAD, mobile-optimized, 2-hour daily core blocks that fit around work schedules.

Admissions

What are the admission requirements?

To apply for an MSc program, you need:

  • A recognized Bachelor's degree (Licence, Baccalauréat+3, or equivalent)
  • A motivation statement explaining why you want to join InnoDI
  • A phone number and valid email address

We strongly recommend completing the free "Architect's Foundation" course before applying. It demonstrates your commitment and gives us a portfolio to evaluate.

How do I apply?

Visit the application page, sign in with Google, fill in your details and motivation statement, pay the 1,000 MAD application fee, and submit. You'll receive a confirmation immediately. Our admissions team reviews applications on a rolling basis.

Is there an application fee?

Yes — a non-refundable application fee of 1,000 MAD (approximately $100 USD) covers administrative processing. This fee is required to submit your application.

When are application deadlines?

InnoDI operates on a rolling admissions basis. You can apply at any time. However, we recommend applying at least 4 weeks before your desired semester start date to ensure onboarding is complete.

How long does the admission decision take?

Most applications are reviewed within 5-10 business days. You'll see your application status (approved/pending/rejected) in your student dashboard and profile page.

Programs & Academics

What programs does InnoDI offer?

We offer 15 MSc degree tracks across 5 departments. Visit the Academic Programs page for the complete catalog. Each department has 3 specialization tracks with 5 core modules per track.

How long does an MSc take to complete?

A standard MSc program is 4 semesters (2 years), worth 120 ECTS credits. The 4th semester is dedicated to your thesis/capstone project (30 ECTS). Because InnoDI is mastery-based, you can work at your own pace — finish faster if you master the material quickly, or take longer without penalty.

What is the "mastery model"?

Traditional universities pass students with 50-60% scores. At InnoDI, you must achieve 100% mastery on all assessments. If you don't pass, you simply retry — there's no penalty for multiple attempts. This means every InnoDI graduate has genuinely mastered every concept in their program. It's harder, but the result is graduates who actually know their field.

What is the ECTS credit system?

ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) measures student workload. 1 ECTS = 28 hours of total study (instruction + self-study + assessment). A typical module is 6 ECTS = 168 hours. An MSc degree totals 120 ECTS. ECTS credits are only awarded when you achieve 100% mastery on a module's assessments.

Is there a free course I can try?

Yes! The "Architect's Foundation" is a free 10-section introductory course (1 ECTS / 28 hours). It teaches web development fundamentals through our mastery-based model. No payment or application required — just sign in with Google and start learning.
